Water and mold in crawl space affects condos in Poughkeepsie

A broken pipe on a common area hot water heater in a crawl space caused not only water damage, but mold was apparent as well. An Industrial Hygienist was brought in to test the mold so we knew the protocol for treatment and the mitigation and remediation of both issues began swiftly. Mold likes warmer temps (between 60-86 degrees Fahrenheit) and a constant water source to thrive so the colder temperatures of the fall and an already repaired hot water heater assisted in speeding up the curing of each concern.
